Day to Day Substitute Teachers Needed $175.00/day

The East Allegheny School District is in need of Substitute Teachers.  We are currently hiring for Daily Building Substitutes at $175.00/day.   If you have a Bachelor's Degree, hold a PA public educator certificate, or a professional-level out-of-state educator certificate, you may be eligible to become a day-to-day Building substitute.  College teaching students are also eligible to substitute per Act 91  .  More information regarding requirements for day-to-day substitutes can be accessed here: Sub teacher requirements

Who can substitute?

Day to Day Substitute School Nurses Needed  $175.00/day

The East Allegheny School District is in need of substitute school nurses.  If you are a certified school nurse, LPN or an RN and would like to be on our sub list, please contact Jamie Griesbaum at 412-824-8012 x4158 or via e-mail to jmorgan@eawildcats.net.    Please click here for the application.  LPN's and RN's must also complete the application with the Pennsylvania Department of Education for emergency certification as a day to day sub.  

General Substitute Support Help Wanted

Substitute Custodians – Max 29 hours/week 

Substitute Paraprofessional/Secretaries - Max 29 hours/week

Substitute Cafeteria Workers – Max 15 hours/week

$12.50/Hour

Interested Substitute applicants should come to the District Office, Door #1, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., to drop off your application.  The application can be downloaded here: Employment Application Packet Clearances (Act 34 – PA Criminal, Act 151 – Child Abuse, Act 114 - FBI) are required.
