• Every employee must submit an Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification Form as required under Pennsylvania Act 24 of 2011, Act 34 (Criminal Record Check), Act 151 (Child Abuse History Check), FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) Criminal History Check, and Act 126 (Part I) Recognizing Child Abuse and Mandated Reporting and Act 126 (Part II) Professional Ethics & Educator Discipline Act. As per Act 15 of 2015, all clearances must be renewed every five (5) years. Also, as of December 22, 2014, Act 168 of 2014 requires all newly hired employees to provide the District with the Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form for all former employers in which they had direct contact with children and any current employer/s. A pre-employment drug testing will be required upon offer of employment. The District may not hire any applicant for a position until the employment history review process has been completed.

    Clearances must also be updated every 5 years while employed within the school district.

    ACT 34 – Pennsylvania Criminal History Check -



    Go to “New Record” and follow the instructions through to the Certification Page. Once the Search Results Table appears, click on the Control Number. (Hint: Write down the Control Number for future reference.) The Record Check Details page is opened. Click on the Certification Page to access your official Clearance. The Record Check Details page is only a receipt and not acceptable as a ‘clearance’. Print 2 Certification Pages, 1 for you and one for your Personnel File.

    ACT 151 – Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance -


    The website will ask for a Keystone ID.  You make up the ID # you want to use. 

    Your clearance will be emailed to you once completed

    Act 126: Mandated Reporter Training

    Training must be completed by onboarding employees and again every 5 years of employment.
