Chromebook Touchpad Guide
Move the Pointer
Move your finger across the touchpad to move the pointer.
Click

Press or tap the lower half of the touchpad.
Right-Click
You can right-click in several ways:

Tap the touchpad with two fingers

Press the Search key, then click with one finger

Press the Launcher key, then click with one finger
Scroll
-
Place two fingers on the touchpad
-
Move them up and down to scroll vertically
-
Move them left and right to scroll horizontally
Move Between Pages

Swipe left with two fingers to go back
-
Swipe right with two fingers to go forward
See All Open Windows

Swipe up or down with three fingers
-
If Reverse Scrolling is OFF: Swipe up

If Reverse Scrolling is ON: Swipe down

Close a Tab
-
Point to the tab
-
Tap or click with three fingers
Open a Link in a New Tab

Point to the link
-
Tap or click with three fingers
Switch Between Tabs

Swipe left or right with three fingers to switch between open tabs
Drag and Drop

Using one finger, click and hold the item you want to move

Drag the item to its new spot

Release your finger to drop it
