Long also said there has been a decline in repeat offenders this year.

- Accepted the resignation of EAHS cross country coach Rich Rouse and hired George Bucar as the new cross country coach;

In his monthly report, Superintendent Joe DiLucente said the district is broadening its outreach to strengthen relationships for more post-secondary options for East Allegheny graduates. DiLucente cited recent meetings he had with Career Ready Allegheny and CCAC, to discuss dual enrollment opportunities. He also discussed the ground-breaking XYCOM immersive reality technology for students that will be showcased at a February 25 debut event.
