The Comeback Stand: Supporting EA Athletics & Youth Sports
On October 5, 2025, the concession stand at East Allegheny’s Churchman Stadium was damaged by a fire. Thanks to the swift response of our local fire departments, the flames were quickly contained and, most importantly, no one was injured.
The concession stand plays a vital role in supporting East Allegheny’s athletic teams, marching band, and community youth sports programs. Beyond serving game-day refreshments, it is a major source of funding that helps provide essential resources for our student-athletes and youth programs.
Its loss will have an immediate impact, but we are already seeing the community come together. Families, local organizations, and other school districts have begun reaching out to offer support while we work on a plan forward.
We’ve seen your messages and posts, and we’re truly grateful for the support being shown throughout the community.
Looking Ahead
We are committed to turning this setback into an opportunity.
With your support, we look forward to not only supporting our students and rebuilding our concession stand, but also reinforcing the strong community spirit that defines East Allegheny.
Thank you for standing with our Wildcats.
