This October, East Allegheny’s JR/SR High School proudly celebrates a group of outstanding educators whose dedication, creativity, and enthusiasm continue to make a lasting impact on our students and school community.

Amanda Demedio organized an incredible lineup of Homecoming events — from the Pep Rally to the Dance — creating unforgettable memories for our students. Her patience, positivity, and leadership shone throughout, making every event a success and every student feel included.

Jen Miller continues to inspire through the strong relationships she builds with her students. Her encouragement and steady motivation help them stay focused and strive for success, proving that meaningful connections lead to powerful learning.

Alice Kranz deserves recognition for her innovative spirit and collaborative mindset. From integrating new tools like IXL, Canva, and Google Docs to fostering cross-curricular discussions on vocabulary and data, Alice exemplifies curiosity and a commitment to growth.

Justin Rosco and the marching band finished another remarkable season — topping it off with a championship win at the Tournament of Bands, Region 8 Section 2A at Penn-Trafford! His leadership, passion, and dedication to excellence have made “We are the champions” more than just a song — it’s a reality. 

Together, Amanda, Jen, Alice, and Justin embody the very best of East Allegheny — collaboration, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to student success.
