East Allegheny Seniors Take Their Talents to College Athletics
Three EA athletes are set to continue their athletic journeys at the collegiate level, each with impressive accomplishments in their respective sports.
Dustin Harrier
Dustin Harrier will be attending Carlow University, where he will continue to play soccer for the Celtics Men’s Soccer team. Harrier’s soccer career began at the age of 4, and he joined the Allegheny Force Football Club at 9 years old. His high school achievements include back-to-back undefeated middle school soccer seasons and playing in East Allegheny’s first home soccer playoff game in over 15 years.
Harrier is a 4-year varsity letterman and a 3-year starter for East Allegheny Varsity Soccer. In 2024, he was named a WPIAL Section 3-AA All-Section Selection and a WPSCA Class AA All-Star Game Selection. After recovering from an ACL tear in 2024, Harrier returned to play in seven games during his senior year, earning All-Section and All-Star honors. He will bring his leadership as a captain and his versatility as both a forward and goalkeeper to the Celtics.
Jordan Rondeau
Jordan Rondeau will be heading to Penn State Beaver, where he will play soccer and study nutritional sciences. Rondeau’s athletic career at East Allegheny includes playing soccer during his freshman and senior years, football during his sophomore, junior, and senior years, and basketball throughout most of his high school years.
Rondeau played as a defender for the East Allegheny Varsity Soccer team and wore the #27 jersey. His dedication to athletics and academic goals will serve him well as he pursues both his education and sports career at Penn State Beaver.
Caden Savinda
Caden Savinda will attend Seton Hill University to study business and compete on the Griffins Men’s Soccer team. A versatile player who has excelled as both a defensive midfielder and outside back, Savinda brings strong leadership skills, a relentless work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork.
He has been recognized as a 2025 James Collins Scholar-Athlete Nominee and has maintained high academic standards, earning High Honor Roll status from 9th to 12th grade. Additionally, he serves as the Treasurer of the National Honor Society. Savinda’s combination of athletic ability and academic dedication will contribute significantly to both his team and his studies at Seton Hill.
