Chromebook Damage and Insurance

Dear East Allegheny Families,

Chromebook insurance is available for the 2026–2027 school year for all students in grades K–12. For $25 per family, insurance provides protection in the event of accidental damage to a school-issued Chromebook.

All families are asked to please accept or decline Chromebook insurance by September 30, 2026. Please review the Technology Lending Agreement for important information about Chromebook use, care, and insurance coverage.

Complete the Chromebook Insurance Google Form to indicate whether you would like to purchase insurance.

If you choose to purchase insurance, an invoice will be manually created through Alma and emailed to you. Payment can be made online through Alma or by cash, check, or money order to your student's main office.
