    • Only for females who are planning to major in Math, Science (including Pre-Med), or Engineering

    Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship

    • February 1, 2018
    • For graduating minority students
    • Application can be found at jackierobinson.org
    • Plan to attend an accredited and approved four-year institution within the United States
    • Show leadership potential and demonstrate a dedication to community service
    • Present evidence of financial need
    • Have a minimum SAT score of 1,000 combined on the math and critical reading sections or a composite ACT score of 21

     

     

     

    Garden Club Federation Scholarship

    • February 1, 2018
    • Must be majoring in Agriculture Education, Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Architecture, Conservation, Forestry, Biology (excluding Medical), Botany, Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Environmental Control, City (Rural & Urban) Planning, Wildlife Science, Land Management, and/or allied subjects
    • Must be sponsored by a Federated Garden Club (such as the Garden Club of Monroeville)
    • Complete one “GCFP Scholarship Application”, available at www.pagardenclubs.org/forms.html

     

    Owen M. Katz High School Scholarship

    • February 9, 2018
    • Must be majoring in Engineering
    • Completed application and essay

     

    PACB Foundation Scholarship

    • February 23, 2018
    • Applicant must be a dependent child of a parent working at least 1,000 hours per year, for a minimum of 2 years, for a regular member of the PA Association of Community Bankers (PACB)
    • Completed application and 1,000-word essay or less

     

    Hermine Solt Student Scholarship

    • March 1, 2018
    • Applicant must be pursuing a career in secretarial, office technology, accounting, or business education (including business education teaching)

    The Pittsburgh Rotary Club Foundation Scholarship

    • March 9, 2018
    • Applicant must have a 3.2 GPA or above
    • Completed application, 2 letters of recommendation & 400-600 word essay
    • Must provide total family yearly income and all other grant information

     

    PenSPRA Scholarship

    • March 9, 2018
    • Applicant must be majoring in a communications field (i.e., journalism, English, public relations, advertising, graphic arts, etc.)
    • Must have at least a 3.0
    • Completed application, essay and two (2) letters of recommendation

     

     

     

    Phi Sigma Pi Scholarship

    • March 30, 2018
    • Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and plans to continue education at the college or university level
    • Completed application and 750-1500 word essay

     

    BigSun Athletic Scholarship

    • June 19, 2018
    • Must be a student-athlete

    • Must write an essay: What has your participation in sports affected who you are and how you relate to others?  Include the effects on personal relations with peers and others.

     

    AES Scholarship

    • October 6, 2018
    • Students must submit an essay of between 500 and 1000 words in answer to the following question: When you look back on your life in 30 years, what would it take for you to consider your life successful? What relationships or accomplishments will be important on this journey?
