    Lola G. Duff & William H. Duff Scholarship Program

    • March 15, 2018
    • Must be Protestant
    • Merit applicants must have a 3.0 GPA; need applicants a 2.8 GPA

    American Association of Blacks in Energy

    • March 15, 2018
    • Must have GPA of 3.0 or higher
    • Must be majoring in Business, Technology, Engineering, Math, or one of the Physical Sciences
    • For minorities only
    • Completed application, essay and two (2) letters of recommendation

     

    PSCA High School Student Scholarship

    • March 16, 2018
    • Must be planning to pursue post-secondary education
    • Submit a one-page essay about a School Counselor who has made a difference in your academic, career, and/or social-emotional development
    • Essays must be submitted with a PSCA Essay Competition Entry Form

     

    Phi Sigma Pi Scholarship

    • March 30, 2018
    • Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and plans to continue education at the college or university level
    • Completed application and 750-1500 word essay

     

    Court Time Foundation Scholarship

    • March 31, 2018
    • Must have participated in at least one (1) Court Time Sports Center sports activity
    • Completed application and three (3) letters of reference plus personal statement
    • Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0

     

    Ralph B. Canterbury Scholarship

    • March 31, 2018
    • Student must be a member of Clearview Federal Credit Union
    • There is no cost to open an account

    Bernie Matthews Opportunity Foundation Scholarship

    • April 1, 2018
    • Must demonstrate financial need ($55,000 or lower family income required)
    • Must maintain a GPA of 2.5
    • Completed application, essay, and one letter of recommendation

     

    The Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh

    • April 1, 2018
    • Must major in astronomy, mathematics, or physics
    • Completed application, essay, and letter of recommendation from counselor

     

    Pittsburgh Italian Scholarship Fund

    • April 6, 2018
    • Must have at least one parent of Italian heritage
    • Must demonstrate excellent academic performance
    • Must demonstrate financial need
    • Completed application and two (2) recommendations

     

    American Association of Drilling Englineers

    • April 15, 2018
    • Must graduate from high school with a minimum GPA of 3.5
    • SAT score of at least 600 on Math and 600 on Critical Reading
    • Enroll in an accredited college in Pennsylvania, Ohio, or West Virginia

     

    Landmarks Scholarship Award

    • April 18, 2018
    • Must have a 3.25 GPA or above
    • Award is based on interest in the history, architecture, and/or landscape design of the Pittsburgh region
    • Completed application and one letter of recommendation

    The Robert L. Gogo Jr. Scholarship

    • April 20, 2018
    • Recognizes academic record, leadership, work experience, and volunteer service in the school and community
    • Completed application
    • 3 letters of recommendation, 2 from teachers and 1 from an employer or another who can speak from personal knowledge of you or your work

     

    Constance T. Rockwell Scholarship Program for the Theater Arts

    • April 20, 2018
    • For students who want to pursue a career in the performing arts, but not for a teaching degree
    • Completed application, 2 letters of recommendation, and audition required

     

    Three Rivers Desk and Derrick Scholarship

    • May 1, 2018
    • Must be majoring in an energy-related field at a college or university OR an industry-related program at a trade or vocational school
    • Must submit a 500-word essay on “Energy Jobs: Now and In the Future”

     

    Beulah Frey Environmental Scholarship

    • May 4, 2018
    • Must be planning to attend a two- or four-year college
    • Must major in an environmental area of study

    Abbott and Fenner Scholarship Program

    AES Scholarship

    • Students must submit an essay of between 500 and 1000 words in answer to the following question: When you look back on your life in 30 years, what would it take for you to consider your life successful? What relationships or accomplishments will be important on this journey?
