EA senior Ian Miller balances a demanding schedule that includes swimming, robotics, track and field, art club, and Interact while maintaining strong academics and developing discipline and resilience. Through robotics competitions and years on the swim team, Ian has learned the value of teamwork, quick thinking, and consistent effort. After graduation, he is considering attending CCAC to pursue nursing or entering the IBEW to become an electrician.

The East Allegheny School District Board of Education has a Board Member vacancy in Region 9. 

Any qualified electors, of the District, residing within the region 9 area, interested in being appointed to fill this position effective April 7, 2026, for the unexpired portion of the term, should submit a letter of interest and resume. 

Mrs. Rosco’s impact extends far beyond music instruction at East Allegheny. Through choir and musicals, she creates a supportive community where students build confidence, connection, and lifelong skills.

Join us for an evening celebrating Black History through the voices and talents of our students. East Allegheny high school students will share presentations, artwork, music, and dance honoring influential Black leaders who continue to inspire new generations.

This community event is free to attend, with food and drinks provided, and no registration is required. 

During the months of November and December, East Allegheny Junior/Senior High School recognized several staff members for their dedication, teamwork, and positive contributions to the school community. These peer submitted recognitions highlight the many ways staff members support students, colleagues, and district programs each day.
