1.      Why do we need to fill out Emergency Cards yearly?

There may be some change in the family’s
required information during the school year. 
To ensure the school has the most
accurate and up to date information,
the emergency care card must be completed.

 

 2.      Why do we need a doctor’s permission for over-the counter
       medicines?

                      The Nurse Practice Act prohibits 
                      the administration of any medication
                      by a nurse without a physician’s written order.

 3.      Where can I find information on head lice?

MRSA INFORMATION

Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is caused by the bacteria Staphylococcus aureus. Infection with MRSA means that some antibiotics will not work against these bacteria. Now that it has been reported locally, we have some fact sheets for schools, for daycare settings, the workplace and for sporting events that could help reduce the risk of infection.

Paper retrievers are at the Green Valley, EA High School and Logan Middle School buildings to
recycle newspapers, magazines, office and school papers, shopping catalogs,
junk mail, phone books and even shredded paper.  Recycling Bins are now at all buildings to recycle
plastics, cardboard, aluminum, tin and steel cans.  NO GLASS PLEASE.
