DIRECTIONS TO EAST ALLEGHENY HIGH SCHOOL/ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES FROM PITTSBURGH: Follow to the Parkway East and go through the Squirrel Hill Tunnels. Follow the parkway to exit 10A, Forest Hills, Route 30 (there is also a sign that says East McKeesport). This exit will put you directly onto Route 30 East, which is Ardmore Blvd. in Forest Hills. Follow Route 30 approximately 6-7 miles to Route 48 (you will cross the Westinghouse Bridge, go past Great Valley Shopping Center, past Rite Aid, past Matt’s Furniture Store). At the intersection of Route 30 and 48, there is an Exxon station to your right, a Denny’s to your left, K-Mart on the far left corner. Turn right at this light and follow Route 48 approximately ¼ mile. East Allegheny High School and Administration building is to your right. Turn right to go up our hill and at the stop sign, the buildings are on your right. You may park anywhere on your left. From Pittsburgh to Westinghouse Elementary Follow to the Parkway East and go through the Squirrel Hill Tunnels. Follow the parkway to exit 8A, Forest Hills, Route 30 (there is also a sign that says East McKeesport). This exit will put you directly onto Route 30 East, which is Ardmore Blvd. in Forest Hills. Follow Route 30 approximately 4.5-5 miles to Route 148 (you will cross the Westinghouse Bridge and go past Great Valley Shopping Center). You should get in the left lane after you pass the North Versailles Bowling Alley and a used car lot (on your right)and at the Rite Aid (which will be on your right), you will make a left turn on to Route 148. Follow this road through the stop sign, down the hill, straight through the light at the bottom of the hill to the stop sign at the Post Office. Deli-Licious will be on the next right corner and a Dollar General will be on the left corner. Turn left. At the second stop sign, make a left into the circle and parking is in the lot to the right, or in the circle. The main entrance to the school is on the right. The park is on your left. ADDITIONAL DIRECTIONS Directions to East Allegheny High School from Route 51 / 70: Follow Route 51 North to Route 48 North. Travel on Route 48 approximately 10 miles. (Route 48 turns to the right after the Olympia Shopping Center in Versailles). After you cross Lincoln Way and pass Oak Park Mall on your right, go approximately 1.5 miles and East Allegheny High School is on your left. If you reach Route 30, you have gone too far. Directions to Green Valley School (East Allegheny) from Route 51 / 70: Follow Route 51 North to Route 48 North. Travel on Route 48 approximately 10 miles. (Route 48 turns to the right after the Olympia Shopping Center in Versailles). Travel on to Route 30. Exxon is on your left, Wendy’s on your right. Make a left. Follow Route 30 approximately 3 miles. After Lou’s Magoo’s (on left) get in the left lane and turn left at Maryland Avenue, between the auto sales lot and North Versailles Bowl. Go to the second stop sign, and make a left on Lynda Lane. Follow Lynda Lane to the next stop sign and make a left. Green Valley School is straight ahead. Directions to Westinghouse School (East Allegheny) from Route 51 / 70: Follow Route 51 North to Route 48 North: Travel on Route 48 approximately 10 miles. (Route 48 turns to the right after the Olympia Shopping Center in Versailles). Travel on to Route 30. King’s and Exxon are on your left. Make a left. Follow Route 30 approximately 2 miles. Turn right at the light at Route 148, Texaco is on your right, Giant Eagle Get-Go on your left. Follow Route 148, Fifth Avenue, to the light at the bridge. Continue straight until the next stop sign, at Deli-Licious. Turn left, go to the second stop sign and you will see the school to the left. Parking is in the circle or in the school parking lot to the right. Directions to schools from Route 30 – Irwin area: High School: Turn left at Route 48 (Exxon and King’s are on the corner). Travel approximately ¼ mile and the school is on your right. Westinghouse School: Follow Route 30 to the light at Route 148, Texaco is on your right, Giant Eagle Get-Go on your left, and turn right. Follow Route 148, Fifth Avenue, to the light at the bridge. Continue straight until the next stop sign, at Deli-Licious. Turn left, go to the second stop sign and you will see the school to the left. Parking is in the circle or in the school parking lot to the right. Green Valley School: Follow Route 30 to the auto sales lot (on your left), just past Lou Magoo’s, get in the left lane and turn left at Maryland Avenue, between Scott Motor Co. and North Versailles Bowl. Go to the second stop sign, and make a left on Lynda Lane. Follow Lynda Lane to the next stop sign and make a left. Green Valley School is straight ahead. FROM MONROEVILLE / TURNPIKE AREA: Take turnpike exit #6, Monroeville. Exit and get immediately in the left lane. Turn left at the light at Outback Steakhouse, Route 48 South. Take Route 48 South for approximately 5 miles. Continue on Route 48 South, crossing the intersection with Route 30 (Exxon, Denny’s, and Burger King are on the corners). Continue on Route 48 South for about ¼ mile. East Allegheny School District is on the right. Follow our road up to the stop sign. At the stop sign, turn left into our parking area. The District Office is annexed to the right side of the High School building.
