    The East Allegheny School District is in  need of cafeteria substitutes, called on an as needed basis, for the 2016/2017 school year

  • TRANSPORTATION REGISTRATION - 
    If your student attends a brick/mortar charter school, a private or parochial school and requires transportation provided by the East Allegheny School District, you must complete the Transportation Registration Form and provide the required documents to our central registrar located at the Logan Elementary School.  For hours and more information click here
     
    Returning students must verify their address and phone number with the registrar before August 1.

2017  School Immunization Requirements

 The following immunizations are required for PA school students Grade K-12:

  •  4 doses of DTAP (diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis) One dose needs to have been given after the 4th birthday. Only 3 doses are required if the first dose administered was after the age of 7.
  • 4 doses of polio
  • 2 doses of MMR (measles, mumps and rubella)
  • 3 doses of Hepatitis B
  • 2 doses of varicella vaccine ( Students entering grades K thru 12 with a prior history of chicken pox disease reported by a parent and documented in the record before September 2008 are considered immune and require no further follow-up. Students who report a history of chicken pox after September 2008 will need to provide a written statement from their physician verifying the disease.)

  • 1 dose of tdap( also may be called boostrix) 
  • 1 dose of meningitis vaccine ( may also be called menactra or MCV4)

These Vaccines may be obtained at the ACHD (Allegheny County Health Department), free of charge, for all students 18 years and younger. You can contact the ACHD at 412-578-8060.

 
 
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
FOR THE PROTECTION OF OUR STUDENTS AND STAFF, USE OF THE STADIUM/TRACK WILL PROHIBITED DURING THE SCHOOL DAY AS PER THE INFORMATION BELOW (POLICY #707):

USE OF HIGH SCHOOL STADIUM/TRACK

Members of the community are prohibited from using the high school track and stadium between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. during regular school days, and during all other school-related activities being conducted on the track or at the stadium.  Use of the high school track and stadium by members of the community is limited to such times as it does not interfere with educational programs of the school, including use of the school by gym classes or other school activities.
