When delays or cancelations are called, all parents, at the numbers we have on file, will receive notification via our mass call system, ParentLink. Calls may be made in the evening or first thing in the morning, usually before 6:00 a.m. We also ask you to please check the local television stations or listen to the radio stations for delay/cancelation information just in case you do not receive a call. Dear Parents/Guardians:
The East Allegheny School District’s Technology Department recently upgraded our spam filter for our e-mail and Internet use. With that in mind, you may have experienced some difficulty in sending an e-mail to any of our staff members.
Please understand that with this upgrade, e-mails from accounts through AOL, Hotmail, Comcast, and some others may be getting blocked by our filter and are being returned to you. Possibly, the message is getting blocked but it is not being returned and as far as you know, it was received. If you send a message to one of the employees at the school, and you do not get a response within 24 hours, please contact the individual by phone.
Communication is important to us and we are working diligently to ensure that messages are delivered accordingly.

January – winter driving
Winter in Pennsylvania can mean rapidly changing weather and road conditions. If you don’t have to drive during a storm, don’t. If you have to drive, make sure you pack an emergency kit and drive appropriately for the conditions. Learn more about winter driving and what to pack in an emergency kit at www.DriveSafePA.org. IF YOU NEED TO WITHDRAW YOUR CHILD FROM THE EAST ALLEGHENY SCHOOL DISTRICT, YOU MUST COMPLETE A FORMAL WITHDRAWAL FORM WITH THE CENTRAL REGISTRAR AT LOGAN MIDDLE SCHOOL (REGARDLESS OF WHICH BUILDING YOUR CHILD ATTENDED) BEFORE RECORDS CAN BE SENT TO THE FORWARDING SCHOOL. A REQUEST FROM THE SCHOOL IS NOT SUFFICIENT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.
